“Journey to Jerseyville Rock the Block Concert Series moves into the fall for the 4th installment of the popular downtown event”
Downtown Jerseyville will host its 4th and final Rock the Block concert of the year. This concept, developed by Explore Jerseyville Tourism, brings together a public private partnership. Each event that has happened over 2022 brought together different Jerseyville businesses to cover aspects of the evening and showcasing what they provide. The 4th installment will take place on October 7th located at EAST ARCH STREET Featuring Captain Geech & The Shrimp Shack Shooters as our entertainment. Representation from local businesses and community organizations will be present on the grounds. Kick off the weekend with drinks on the concert grounds by The KC Hall. The US Veterans Foundation will have a tent set up to serve you with some hot food off the grill along with some of their merchandise to purchase. Some other local favorites will be joining us also, Pig on Wing, Los Tres Amigos, and Germania Brew Haus. As an Added bonus just outside the concert area there are variety of restaurants and bars with food to meet anyone’s tastes, DJ’s Pub and Grill, Georges Local Brew, Red Bird Deli, Fran & Marilyn’s Restaurant, Casa Tequila, Jem Bar and Brossio all located in City Center. We also love to have other businesses supporting these community events. Captain Geech will take the stage from 6-9PM bringing visitors to their feet with some of the great classics. Their great sound and wonderful audience involvement will have people dancing in the street. Germania Brew House part of the Historic City Center District will be there to serve your favorite coffee’s.
