“Journey to Jerseyville Rock the Block Concert Series move into the fall 2 additional installments of the popular downtown event”
Downtown Jerseyville will host 3rd evening for this concert series. This concept, developed by Explore Jerseyville Tourism, brings together a public private partnership. Each event happening over the remainder of 2022 will bring together different Jerseyville businesses to cover aspects of the evening, showcasing what they provide. The 3rd installment will take place on September 9th located on East Arch featuring The OWLZ band as our entertainment. For the night of the concert East Arch Street will come alive with sounds of the classics. Representation from local businesses and community organizations will be present on the grounds with numerous Restaurants, Bars and Retail Shops Just steps away. Kick off the weekend with drinks on the concert grounds by Georges Local Brew, Los Tres Amigos moves downtown for an evening with a full nacho/taco bar, and Pig on a Wing will also be there with some great options from their food truck. As an Added bonus just outside the concert area there are variety of restaurants and bars with food to meet anyone’s tastes, DJ’s Pub and Grill, Fran & Marilyn’s Restaurant, Casa Tequila, Jem Bar and Brossio all located in City Center. We also love to have other businesses supporting these community events, check out Sweet Peas & Ruby Mae’s for the latest in home and fashion. Royal Banks of Jerseyville will be on site to assist with questions and helping you find just the right touch to make your Journey to Jerseyville memorable. The Owlz will take the stage from 6-10pm bringing visitors to their feet with some of the great classics. Their great sound and wonderful audience involvement will have people dancing in the street. Los Tres Amigos: Located on south state this restaurant has been in Jerseyville for years hosting and serving some of the best gatherings for Families and Friends. For the September 9th Rock the Block they will bring their authentic flair to Downtown for one night only.
Pig on a Wing: Visit their new location on HWY 16 East for some great specialties using great ingredients. They will join us on September 9th via their fabulous food truck. Customer favorites hot off the grill.
